Fashion Photographer & Event Body Painter

Recently I used Haus of Life Collective for a "Garden Of Eden" themed event where I was bodypainting an "Adam and Eve" and needed a wall of plants for a Photo Op background and other "jungle environment" accents placed throughout the space. I worked with Austen and Tyler primarily, and their team was terrific to work with from start to finish. A month prior to the event we discussed my needs, and I showed them pictures of the space, shared my concepts, general ideas and budget. Right away they came up with several appropriate options and suggestions. Once we mutually settled on specific ideas, off they went. They touched base with me a few times to be sure we were all on the same track with some particular options, but they are the experts and I believe in letting brilliant creatives do their thing!  

On the day of the event Austen and Tyler arrived early with their team and installed the magical looking jungle wall, an entry arbor and tropical table centerpieces. A guest who had been to the venue before said she couldn't believe how the space was completely transformed. Austen and Tyler not only know how to create beautiful pieces, but they know just where to strategically place them for maximum effect. I will definitely be using them again.

I’ve hired Haus of Life Collective for two health and wellness brand activations, and they delivered both times. The installs felt unique—more like art than a typical plant setup. Attendees couldn’t believe the plants weren’t live because they looked that real. Working with faux plant experts who understand the client and the brand has been a game changer. I was also impressed by how easily their designs can scale for any commercial space or be customized to create a cozy, green residential feel. Haus of Life Collective redesigned my home and I was so happy with the result that I hired them again to redesign my office at the hospital. Austen also worked with me on creating a few standout custom pieces—starting with two huge white orchid arrangements, and then the real showstopper: Austen transformed a large column on my balcony into a tropical faux plant wall. I’ve seen installs like that before, but never imagined having something like it in my own home. The best part is the maintenance is minimal, so everything always looks great.

Real plants can be a hygiene concern in a hospital setting, so faux plants were the perfect solution to create a natural, calming environment in what used to feel sterile and boring. I genuinely love being at home now—and I actually enjoy spending time in my office at the hospital as well.
